none of the images show in the browser(background or simple images in the page).Even on different computers. Is there some setting in visual studio 2005 ?

go to properties box and click enabled=true
Reply:maybe browser can't find the pictures where you have located the pictures.
or
enabled properties is false, return it back to true.
